The VIE contract in short:

According Business France's eligibility conditions, the Volontariat International en Entreprise (VIE) is an assignment in a French company operating overseas for professionals between the age of 18 and 28 who are European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Iceland und Liechtenstein) nationals. 

If you are already living and paying taxes in Germany, you are unfortunately not eligible to do a VIE in Germany.

PLEASE NOTE: your application must be submitted in English (CV + cover letter) to be considered by our non-French speaking teams.

In the area of fund distribution services, the team supports fund management companies in the distribution of investment fund units on the domestic market to investors and CACEIS clients.
The team is also responsible for SEPA payment services. SEPA payment types, such as credit transfers and direct debits, are initiated either by CACEIS clients or external parties.
The team cooperates closely with local CACEIS teams and with CACEIS entities outside Germany. It maintains regular contact with clients, external parties, and other market participants.

Your main responsibilities are to:
• Process subscriptions and redemptions for investment funds and oversee the end‑to‑end process
• Assist internal and external CACEIS clients in operational matters, acting as a subject-matter expert
• Collect, analyze, and prepare data for regulatory and other reporting and information purposes
• Monitor SEPA payments, act on payments in error status, and escalate or prompt decisions where required
• Collect and prepare data required for the set-up of new funds and counterparties
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external parties, conducting investigations and providing answers or redirecting them as appropriate,
• Resolve open settlement transactions
• Reconcile open items and identify the root causes of differences and exceptions in cash and units
• Contribute to the implementation of legal requirements and market best practices
• Contribute to innovation and automation initiatives, and support related projects and testing activities

• Experience in fund industry, fund distribution or payment services is an advantage.

Outils informatiques

• Very good skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Appreciated interest in technology and automation (e.g. AI solutions, VBA Excel coding)
