You will be responsible on day-to-day processing of CACEIS clients clean cash payment instructions through both swift and non-swift channels which comes under TMS Operations. The role is to deliver specific services to external and internal stakeholders with high level of quality, efficiency and fostering a client first mind-set. You will be responsible to define an appropriate control and governance to support the operations and to meet the regulatory requirements, closely working with Risk, Compliance and Change programs to support group’s initiative as well as assist with Internal and External Audit and Regulatory requirements.

You will be supporting Europe team, 16:00 – 01:00 / 17:00 – 02:00 hours local time.

Supplementary Information

What will you do?

  • Perform processing of clean cash payments (Pre- and Post-Execution) on a daily basis: input, verify, validate and reconcile either electronically or manually across sub-custodians.
  • Ensure adherence to desk operating procedures, control framework, escalation protocol, risk and regulatory compliance of processing activities.
  • Deliver a high accuracy rate and timeliness to ensure superior quality of service to our clients.
  • Continuous monitoring of cash payments operation team mailboxes and executions manual payments in accordance with instructions/ queries received and do the required follow ups without delay.
  • Work collaboratively with both internal [TPFX, Cash investigation, Cash Management, Fund Accounting, Oversight and other CACEIS business units] and external stakeholders [Sub custodians/ agents] to ensure the operating model is robust and the risk is mitigated.
  • Perform investigation of cash breaks and provide resolution within agreed timeline.
  • Ensure focus on sharing the best practices within the team and reporting weak controls/ slippages to CPO management team.
  • Contribute to CP projects and initiatives [through ideas/ suggestions] to help improve process and control.
  • Manage new staff on-boarding and provide oversight and direction to the employees in the department in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures and assist manager in capacity planning.

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Tertiary educated with relevant background.

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years

Experience

  • Extensive operational knowledge / experience in Transaction Management, Corporate Actions, Foreign Exchange, Cash Payments, Shareholder Services, Fund Accounting or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of payments, market and industry practice (SWIFT)

Required skills

  • Good communication, presentation, interpersonal and networking skills with a proven track record of dealing with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytic skills. Excellent decision making & problem-solving skill.
  • Risk management and mitigation focus.

Technical skills required

  • Conversant and have worked with platforms such as TLM and familiar with core custody platforms: Milvus, ISO, GTX, SSI tool.
