Job summary
What is the opportunity?
CACEIS was set up in Cyberjaya, Malaysia in July 2023 with approximately 1,000 employees, with the acquisition of RBC investor Services’ European business and Malaysia centre of excellence.
As a centre of excellence, the team in Malaysia provides asset services, custody and payments for clients in Europe (Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Switzerland and United Kingdom) with a global operating model that maximises efficiencies across time zones, supports 17/5 operational capability with follow the sun model, enhances scalability of our global operations and the implementation of standardized processes.
Your main responsibility will be to lead Client Invoicing’s system application and process transitions end to end and act as a single point of contact.

What will you do?
- Covering end-to-end aspects from learning and documenting the new operating model, system applications and processes, Solution Identification discussions through the actual process transition till go-live / handover to operations team
- Supporting various process transitions end to end from the existing to new operating model, system applications and processes – and act a single point of contact
- Design service level agreement, process flow, procedures, checklists and risk & control self-assessment
- Working closely with the business leaders to understand their needs and suggest different solutions
- Planning and leading improvement projects during the process transition
- Following up the problem resolution and if necessary, intervene until it gets resolved
- During the transition, cooperate with other teams for ensuring smooth operation after go-live
- Keeping contacts with vendors and/or IT
- Deploying monitoring tools to ensure proactive prevention against system failures
- Project planning – estimating timelines, costs, resource requirements and execution
- Monitor project, take corrective actions if needed, report on project progress
- Obtaining all internal and external approvals for solution design, tollgate documentation etc.
- Responsible for all transition deliverables
- Owning the budget of the transition
- Manage relationship with all related stakeholders
- Team management during transitions
- Deliver and develop technical training for new joiners and experienced members of staff
Supplementary Information
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
- At least 5 years in experienced in the end-to-end Client Invoicing process, fee set up, data acquisition, invoices production, payment receipt, aged receivables management and sub-custody invoice payment
- Prior experience in the securities industry, unit trust fund business, custody business and/or private capital services
- Accounting, Finance and/or Actuarial Science degree or related qualification
- Relevant project management experience
