As an Assistant Manager of OTC Derivatives Services you will be managing the day-to-day CFD activities, including the management/verification of trades process, CFD trade and reconciliation. The position requires good experience and background in operations including familiarity with OTC product. Team focus, dynamic. This person is proactive, and he/she adds value by working on a number of simultaneous tasks with minimal supervision while paying special attention to details. Our mission is to perform day-to-day operations in offering transparency and high level of control to our clients regarding OTC products.

 

What will you do?

  • Ensure quality and timeliness signoff for CFD process – Trade booking, matching and valuation
  • Ensure all queries are managed effectively and escalation are sent to the Manager on timely manner.
  • Signoff on EOD control and check requirement
  • Liaise with other department units to ensure a high-quality service
  • Implement processes for team efficiencies and participate in business improvements projects
  • Ensure procedures are updated (in accordance with internal and client policies) and adhered to and where necessary define them

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Tertiary education with relevant background

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years

Experience

  • Knowledge of CFD and OTC product / Derivatives
  • Fund Accounting background will be an advantage
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Reuters is an advantage
  • Background on trade Input and settlement will be an advantage

Required skills

  • Proven track record in leading initiatives, project management and managing cross-functional relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and networking abilities with clients/business partner
  • Able to manage operation while acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME)
