What is the opportunity?

The incumbent will be a leader with strong business and financial acumen who is able to steer the business to meet its vision, mission and long-term goal. What is the opportunity?
Custody is one of the core products and services in CACEIS, where the Malaysia team manages trade settlement, client services, onboarding, corporate actions and income processing.

What will you do?
Lead the team in ensuring clients are provided with timely, accurate, and efficient processing of all Corporate Action events and associated daily entries. The team must ensure the client/ investor is notified and/or paid correctly &amp; timely.

What is the opportunity?

What will you do?

Production and Supervision
Oversee and support day to day work of Shareholder Services administration and ensuring accurately and timely execution of agreed process.
Adhere to key service level agreements and support coaching to COO, SCOO and intern.

Reporting to the Director, individual will be responsible for managing production teams IMS, namely:

I. Flow Acquisition Management - Coordinates and monitors trade instruction flows across teams, ensuring seamless processing and timely execution without operational delays
II. Middle Office - Performs validation, monitoring, and control between front office and operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance across all trade processes
The working hours will be between 8.00AM up to 7:00PM MYT

What will you do?
• Production – Manage daily production of Flows Acquisition Management and Middle Office services against agreed internal and client SLA
• People Management – Driving people initiatives through the formulation of development plans with the team managers to build talent pipeline.
• Developing future plans – Anticipate growth and changes, devise plans to adjust and to build a sustainable operating model in the long term 
• Project Management – Drive and support key projects for IMS business which includes onboarding new activities, system enhancements and new system development.
• Operational Effectiveness – Develop and implement comprehensive operating procedures and establish an environment of continuous improvement that assesses workflow, processes and procedures on an ongoing basis to maximize efficiency and quality within the department and alignment with globally harmonized and agreed procedures. 
• Risk Management - Ensure procedures are adequate to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory &amp; audit requirements as well as internal risk management policies to mitigate financial/reputational risk for existing processes as well as new transitions. 
• People Management – Directly manage a team from a business and people perspective. 
• Human Resources Management and Development - Build a high-performance team and ensure human resource policies are effectively implemented and administered.

Within the Private Equity &amp; Real Estate Solutions (PERES) department, you will join the Reporting team in charge of the complete management of regulatory and financial reports for clients.

As an Accounting Controller on the Reporting team, your role will be to review and validate the work performed by reporting officer and to take ownership of complex client files, with the objective of preparing accurate financial statements for Alternative Investment Funds and/or commercial companies.
 
Preparation &amp; Review
Prepare annual and semi-annual financial statements for investment funds and/or SPVs under Lux GAAP, US GAAP, or IFRS.
Manage the end-to-end reporting lifecycle for your assigned portfolio, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
Review and validate financial statements prepared by Reporting officers ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.
Take responsibility for producing complex reporting packages.
Act as a key point of contact for clients and external auditors during production and audit process.
Coordinate and perform submissions of financial statements and related documents via the eCDF platform.
Ensure strict adherence to closing deadlines and reporting timelines.

Control
Support reporting officer in their day-to-day activities and in the resolution of complex preparation issues.
Contribute to the accounting and financial training of team members.
Participate in the design, implementation, and deployment of internal controls related to reporting activities.

Organisation of Reporting Activities
Monitor and follow up on deadlines across assigned portfolios;
Support the integration of new team members;
Contribute to the development of team competencies;
Participate in analytical and ad-hoc projects linked to the reporting activity.

What will you do?

Individual contributor role with functional reporting to Manager in Luxembourg and local reporting to Market Solutions Head of Department (HOD). 

Main Mission:
Design, enhance and support Market Solutions related applications and tool to ensure reliability, performance and alignment with business needs.
In your responsibility and capability as the Market Solutions Technical Support, you will cover the below task:
Monitoring and trouble shoot consistency, accuracy and integration of data on a daily basis according to the scheduler in ensuring readiness of the application or tool under the perimeter of Market Solution support team.
Attend, support and investigate to queries raised by Market Solutions Operations to fix errors or bugs which impacts the accessibility or performance of the application tool within the remit.
Escalation to Senior Management, infrastructure or IT teams on network issues which impacts connectivity or performance of the application or tools.
Work hand in hand with Market Solutions Operations team to define and collaborate on the needs and specification for automation and simplification based on the Business Requirement Document (BRD).
Work on the automation of reporting extraction and KPI.
Produce and maintain technical and functional documentation related to the application and tool within Market Solutions support team (specifications, incident resolution procedures).
Active involvement and timely delivery in the assigned project or initiative which requires enhancement or development of application and tool for Market Solutions.

The Fund Accountant, Accounting and Reporting Services, PERES Operations Malaysia, is responsible for accurate and timely fund and GP accounting, NAV production, and fund controller activities, across the range of PERES Operations Malaysia structures supported by the business, and for supporting the cross-review of the team’s work.
Supporting Region: Luxembourg
Working Hours: 9:00am-6:00pm (Malaysia time)

What will you do?
Accurate and timely execution of agreed processes supporting the fund accounting, NAV production and GP accounting functions across a range of PERES Operations Fund Administration structures, including validation of manual entries, collation of accounting working papers, and presentation metrics and control data.
Fund Controller activities including validating the financial reports of investment entities holding Real Estate and Private Equity on behalf of client funds.
Ensure tolerance checks are complete, and any outstanding items are investigated and cleared and that all related audit and regulatory requirements are clearly satisfied, including the requirements of service level agreements.
Respond to all queries and in a timely and effective manner and propose solutions for consideration with the agreed governance and change framework.
Build productive relationships with internal departments and create working relationships as part of the wider Malaysia Client Operations Team and support cross-working and operational improvement initiatives.
