The team and mission:

As Fund Accountant at CACEIS Pension Centre (CPC), you are responsible for the valuation, accounting and control of portfolios of funds and mandates within an international and dynamic environment. The role includes the accurate and timely calculation and publication of Net Asset Values (NAV), the processing and reconciliation of fund transactions, and providing high-quality input for financial, regulatory and investor reporting.

Working on complex fund structures, you play an important role in safeguarding the quality and reliability of our services. Together with colleagues in the Netherlands and Kuala Lumpur, you operate in an environment where operational excellence, risk management and client focus go hand in hand.

You also contribute to the transition towards more automated, data-driven and controlled fund accounting processes. By continuously improving processes and maintaining a strong control framework, you help support accurate valuations, timely reporting and a high level of service for our clients.

What will you do as Fund Accountant?
Deliver end‑to‑end NAV calculations for assigned portfolios of funds within agreed deadlines, including securities pricing verification, calculation of management and performance fees, and distribution of NAVs to clients and stakeholders.
Independently process the full range of fund transactions, including securities trades, cash movements, FX contracts, derivatives, corporate actions,  and private market investments, ensuring correct accounting treatment and timely settlement.
Perform daily cash, securities and general ledger reconciliations and  investigate and resolve the majority of breaks autonomously.
Manage pending items (cash, securities, liabilities, dividends) and escalate aged or complex breaks with clear documentation.
Support client and fund onboarding activities, including contributing to  process improvements and performing user acceptance testing (UAT) for new or changed processes and systems.
Collect and analyze operational and financial data using predefined tools and methods; identify, assess and escalate operational issues in line with defined procedures.
Apply tax control processes and provide analytical support on tax‑related topics within the fund accounting domain.
Contribute to audit and operational compliance by following internal procedures, risk controls and regulatory requirements while supporting internal and external audits.
Participate in quality reviews, root cause analyses and continuous improvement initiatives, proposing corrective and preventive actions to reduce errors and manual work.

Meewerkstage Performance, Risk &amp; Compliance
Wil je tijdens je meewerkstage inzicht krijgen in de performance, risk en compliance van beleggingsportefeuilles? Bij CACEIS krijg je de kans om onderdeel te zijn van het Performance, Risk &amp; Compliance team en samen te werken met collega’s uit verschillende teams binnen de organisatie. Je ondersteunt voornamelijk bij voorbereidende en operationele werkzaamheden, waardoor je van dichtbij meemaakt hoe performance, risk en compliance van beleggingsportefeuilles worden beheerd in een professionele en internationale omgeving.

Wat ga je doen?
Tijdens deze stage draag je bij aan de dagelijkse werkzaamheden van het team. Je werkzaamheden bestaan voornamelijk uit voorbereidende taken binnen performance, dagelijkse compliance werkzaamheden en het opvolgen van Cost Transparency &amp; Benchmarking (CT&amp;B)-gerelateerde acties. Daarnaast help je bij het voorbereiden van data en templates en ondersteun je bij administratieve en operationele werkzaamheden, zoals het versturen en opvolgen van e-mails.

Wat breng je mee?
Je volgt momenteel een hbo- of wo-opleiding, bij voorkeur in de richting van wiskunde, bedrijfseconomie, finance, econometrie of een vergelijkbare studie.
Bij voorkeur bevind je je in de afrondende fase van je studie.
Je hebt affiniteit met de financiële sector, zoals bankwezen, beleggingen, financial management of investment analyses.
Je bent beschikbaar voor 4 dagen per week (waarbij het aantal dagen bespreekbaar is).
Je werkt nauwkeurig en hebt oog voor detail.
Je bent leergierig, analytisch, flexibel en blijft rustig in stressvolle situaties.
Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse taal (mondeling en schriftelijk) en daarnaast communiceer je ook sterk in het Engels.

What will you do as a Reporting Officer?
Prepare periodic financial and regulatory reports for pension funds, insurers, investment funds, and our clients' accountants/auditors  and regulators;
Ensuring high-quality reporting by reviewing the work of Junior colleagues and supporting their development, while also reviewing reports from fellow Mediors to maintain accuracy and consistency;
Maintain client contact and request necessary information and documents;
dentify opportunities and translate them into concrete actions to improve our products and services;
Further develop yourself and our products by keeping up with market and technical developments;
Handle complex client reports with confidence, seeking input from Seniors when needed;
Collaborate with various teams to continuously optimize and innovate our services.
What do you need to work as a Reporting Officer at CACEIS?
A completed Bachelor's degree, preferably in a financial-economic or quantitative field;
At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial and regulatory reporting for pension funds, insurers, or investment firms;
Knowledge of securities (services), accounting experience, and familiarity with Dimension software is a plus;
Knowledge of Dutch GAAP (or other GAAP Frameworks), IFRS, RJ 610 and RJ 615;
Strong numerical insight, an analytical mindset;
A helpful and ambitious mindset, striving for improvement;
The ability to prioritize and work in a structured way to meet deadlines;
Fluency in English, with excellent command of English required. Knowledge of other languages like Dutch or German is a plus, as you will be a sparring partner for accountants and clients;
A driven and resilient attitude, with a strong sense of responsibility;
The ability to work independently while keeping the client’s and team’s best interests in mind;
