Risks &amp; Controls team works across 1LoD business units, technology and support functions in providing management with an informed opinion on the effectiveness of controls they operate to mitigate material risks. Risks and Controls team is responsible for strengthening the 1st line of defense by ensuring permanent controls dedicated to the operational and IT teams, which include the monitoring of execution incidents, the review of the business risk mapping and the 2nd level controls.

By joining the Risk and Controls team dedicated to the Information Systems and IT Security sectors, you will be in charge of managing operational incidents in coordination with IT, carrying out 2.1 controls and reviewing the IT risk mapping, in coordination with the second line of defense.

More specifically, this team aims to monitor IT incidents that have an impact on operational activities and their proper recording in reference tools, you monitor the quality of Service provided by the IT teams and systems by providing regular information on trends and performance to the manager of the Information Systems and IT Security sectors.

As a Senior Manager, you will be leading a team, focussing on planning, risk identification and execution support. You may be required to coordinate the resolution of crisis situations impacting operational activities. You bring your expertise in solving complex or new problems with a strategic scope or for clients. You will play a role as a referent in your field of expertise within CACEIS.

What is the opportunity?
As a Manager, Fund Accounting, you will manage a Fund Accounting team that is accountable for all controls and processes are followed in order to maintain accurate records for each fund and all exceptions and controls breaches are escalated immediately and resolved timely, ensure all audit and regulatory requirements are satisfied and key service level agreements met. Also, responsible for the daily management of the operational team ensuring accurate and timely processing, reconciliation and valuation of inputs.
The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the team efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness, and to reduce operational risk.

What will you do?
Team management of daily operation:
Planning and Delegating Tasks eg organize the team’s daily workload based on priorities, deadlines and available resources; Assign tasks to the right people according to skills and capacity.

Internship at the Internal Audit Department of CACEIS Bank Netherlands
Are you eager to dive into the world of internal auditing and gain hands-on experience in an international setting? Join the Internal Audit Department at CACEIS Bank Netherlands for a dynamic internship that will kick-start your career!

As an intern, you’ll work out of our Amsterdam office within an experienced team, collaborating with colleagues from Europe and Malaysia. Our audits span diverse topics and often multiple countries, offering you a unique chance to explore various aspects of our organization and grow professionally.

What will you do?
Participate in international audits at CACEIS Bank, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole.
Collaborate with a global team on audit assignments.
Travel occasionally (1-2 trips per internship, lasting 2-3 days) to European offices in cities like Paris, Luxembourg, Madrid or London for audit meetings and fieldwork, depending on the assignment.
Draft clear, concise reports based on your audit findings.
What are we looking for?
A motivated bachelor’s student with a keen interest in auditing.
A team player with excellent English communication skills (French or Dutch is a plus but not required).
An enthusiastic learner ready to contribute to audit projects.

Review and provide assurance that the Operational Risk management practices in their respective businesses are effective, meet CACEIS’s enterprise level requirements, and are followed consistently across the business.
Consult and advise on the design of risk management practices within the Business to effectively identify and mitigate operational risks.
Perform root cause deep dive on Operational Risk Events, identify process and control gaps, validate action plan proposal for risk mitigation and action plan governance.
Govern the 1LOD framework of process review and control testing to ensure the team delivers the mandate in line with quality and timeline, challenge and identify area of improvement on assessment quality and verifying the appropriateness of action plans to be in line with Group’s direction.

Responsible for the financial statements and regulatory submissions for the entire fund range. Submissions are monthly, half yearly and yearly activities. Team management of daily operation.

What will you do?

The Finance team provides Finance and Accounting to CACEIS Malaysia across Accounts Payable, Financial Control, Product Control and Performance Management services. The objectives for Malaysia Finance is to provide exceptional  accounting services to our stakeholders and to enable onshore Finance teams to fulfil their roles as valued Finance business partners.
Manage month-end closing deliverables for the Malaysia entities including, but not limited to: Intra-group reconciliations, Intra-group settlements, accruals and general ledger attestation.

What will you do?
Acting as a ‘checker’ to the Fund Accounting team, to produce consistent and accurate prices for your allocated funds, meeting tight deadlines within service level agreements (SLA)
Manage feedback to/from departments that will have input into net asset value (NAV) deliverables to ensure client deliverables and quality standards are met.
Supervisor will be the first escalation point for Oversight/Client and Fund Accountants in providing technical support and advice.
Ensuring effective controls and processes are implemented &amp; managed by all Fund Accountants in order to maintain accurate records within the Funds business.
Identify business risks and ensure that relevant controls and governance are in place. This entails (but not limited to) to supporting the Team Manager in ensuring proper planning (ie. resources, competencies) for seamless daily operations.
Acting as coach and mentor to new and current team members and involves in training new members.

What will you do?

Production and Supervision
Oversee and support day to day work of Shareholder Services administration and ensuring accurately and timely execution of agreed process.
Adhere to key service level agreements and support coaching to COO, SCOO and intern.
Perform quality checks or second level validation on output from the team.
All deadlines need to be monitored, and any issues escalated and communicated appropriately to stakeholders and clients.
Ensure that escalation protocol to Management is strictly adhered to in case of operational issues and events.
Responsible for supporting the manager in guiding the team and serving as the main contact when manager is unavailable.
Proposing ideas/recommendations to enhance processes for increased efficiency in service delivery.
Monitoring &amp; Escalation
Act as first escalation point for the Shareholder Services oversight, execution of complex process and control functions, ensure high quality of allocated deliverables and providing backup relief to for staff and deal with escalated issues/queries.
Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to address performance issue and encourage development.
Identify and address obstacle or challenges that may impede team progress or performance.
Risk Management
Maintain effective process controls and procedures are documented, maintained and adhere to.
Mitigate the risk of errors by suggesting appropriate controls and enhancing procedures.
Maintain comprehensive records for future reference and audit purposes.
