Job summary

1)      Work as part of the  creation of CACEIS Bank Sweden Branch, support the delivery of core elements of:
the AML / Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance Management Plan as it relates to acting as MLRO, MLCO and Compliance Officer for CACEIS Bank Sweden Branch and the Funds to which it provides administration services
the risk framework of the branch as it relates to acting as Risk Officer
the control of the funds investments as it relates to the Depositary control function

2)      Support the development of a strong and consistent compliance and risk culture and alignment to CACEIS’ operating model

3)      Work with the CACEIS Group AML/Financial Crime, Risk and Depositary control teams to support the Business lines and adherence to policies and procedures


Acting as MLRO, MLCO and CO for the business and its administered Funds:
Investigating internal SARs submitted from the Business Line
Responsible for ensuring that appropriate business and customer risk assessments are in place and appropriate for the specific Fund
Develop or maintain Control plans for each client and Fund
Ensure the completion of, and Compliance control plans testing in a timely and effective manner
Collaboration with Group Corporate Compliance/AML , team members for continuous improvement of processes and to share best practice
Preparing local management reports
Oversight and support management of higher risk business activities and relationships (including PEPs) as well as specific AML/CFT issues and exposures
Managing responses to local regulator inquiries, surveys, questionnaires and lead preparation for on-site reviews or audits
Management of preparation and maintenance of local procedures for the Funds
Taking into consideration, incorporating and participating in Enterprise wide Compliance initiatives


Acting as CRO of the branch includes the following responsibilities:
Define and implement the risk mapping and control plan of the branch
Locally implement group risk procedures with regards to incident, action plan, alert and outsourcing management
Support the deployment of the group risk management tools (Matrisk, PCAT)
Support &amp; guide the business lines in their responsibilities as first line of defence in the main fields of operational risk management
Diffuse risk culture in the branch
Liaise and coordinate with Group Risk function, functional reporting to the Regional CRO


Acting as Local Head of Depository Control:
Ensure all regulatory Depositary Control functions are established and executed according to local standards
Establish and execute Depositary Clients onboarding including but not limited to initial and ongoing due diligence.
Functional report Group role responsible for Global Depositary entities

What is the opportunity?

CACEIS in Switzerland is a leading European player of the Asset Servicing market, operating via its two locations of Nyon and Zurich and covering a large &amp; growing base of institutional clients, from Asset Managers to Banks, Insurance Companies and Pension Institutions and Asset Owners. The Coverage team acts as trusted advisor to these clients, enabling them to access the full suite of services that CACEIS can provide locally in Switzerland but also in its key European jurisdictions (Luxembourg, France, Ireland amongst others). These services range from Custody / Depositary, to Fund Administration, Investor Services and ManCo Services.

As part of the Switzerland Commercial team, the Senior Client Coverage Manager will have as a primary responsibility to prospect the Swiss market in order to grow the client base of CACEIS in Switzerland, in line with the commercial strategy. And as a secondary responsibility to manage all aspects of commercial relations with an assigned book of clients with responsibility to protect, maintain and grow CACEIS's income generated by the clients of this portfolio.

What will you do?
Act as prospection lead to grow CACEIS book of clients, particularly focused on the pension institutions and German-speaking area of Switzerland
Contribute to the design, amplification and implementation of the CACEIS strategy about pension institutions in Switzerland
Act as the senior global contact for an assigned portfolio of clients
Develop long term and trusted relationships with prospects / clients
Manages all aspects of commercial relations e.g. protect and growth of CACEIS’s income
Develop network of strategic contacts within prospects &amp; client’s organisation
Develop strategic account plans (aligned with CACEIS Switzerland’s strategic plan) for assigned portfolio of clients, including but not limited:Documented understanding of client’s organisation and stakeholders (including supporters and non-supporters)
Retention plan (if relevant) and growth opportunities
Competitive environment in the market relevant to the client
Develop differentiated relationship model tailored to the clients and its strategic challenges
Represent CACEIS in a senior capacity at external conferences and events
Proactively share clients’ strategic objectives to all CACEIS stakeholders in order to develop solutions that align with these ambitions
Prepare and lead global strategic committee meetings with clients’ management and CACEIS general management
Work in close collaboration with the global client relationship managers, product, operational, IT and support teams on common topics, projects and solutions defined for the client
Negotiation of legal agreements (in collaboration with Switzerland’s legal team)
Completeness of KYC and file for Risk &amp; Compliance Committee
Work with Business Implementation team for new business
Update and maintain CRM system&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
